Baker — Macon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a baker in Macon County, North Carolina. You should have: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Food handler / hygiene certificate On a typical shift you will roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
