Great opportunity: brickwork mason (Vermont)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Orleans County, Vermont. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. On a typical shift you will building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Full-time with occasional weekends.
