Safety officer — Lee County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety officer in Lee County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Rotating shifts.
