Single needle operator — Grainger County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a single needle operator in Grainger County, Tennessee. On the job you will handle: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
