Foundry worker — Vinton County

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in Vinton County, Ohio. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding On a typical shift you will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
