Die-casting operator — Marion County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Marion County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Day-to-day duties: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
