Shakeout operator — Wukari

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Wukari, Taraba State. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills On the job you will handle: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
