Immediate opening: we are hiring a split AC fitter in Jackson County, Kansas. The job is at an air conditioning service centre. What we are looking for: • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces Day-to-day duties: • Install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit Full-time with occasional weekends.
