Concrete pump mate — Surrey

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Surrey, England. You will work on a road and bridge project. On a typical shift you will give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
