Fusing press operator — Niagara County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Niagara County, New York. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Day-to-day duties: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments Full-time with occasional weekends.
