Now hiring: we are hiring a baker in Latimer County, Oklahoma. The job is at a cake shop. On the job you will handle: • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight What we are looking for: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
