What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently On the job you will handle: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
