Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Woodson County, Kansas. You will be based at a landfill site. The role involves: • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket You should have: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
