Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Your main tasks: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
