Visual inspection operator — Baker County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Baker County, Oregon. Requirements: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits Day-to-day duties: • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
