Immediate opening: we are hiring a system scaffolder in Northwest Arctic Borough, Alaska. What we are looking for: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns The role involves fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
