Gas service engineer — Franklin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Franklin County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Driving licence for travel between sites At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
