Tile setter — Madobi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tile setter in Madobi, Kano State. The job is in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. Requirements: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) On the job you will handle: • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
