Vertical milling machine operator — Sumter County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Sumter County, Georgia. The job is at a busy machine shop. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery 3+ years on the tools preferred.
