Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in Davison County, South Dakota. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. Day to day you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Full-time, day shift.
