Urgent requirement: blocklayer (Arkansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a blocklayer in Washington County, Arkansas. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one On a typical shift you will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
