Flatlock machine operator • Shropshire, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Shropshire, England. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. Day-to-day duties: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Part-time with flexible hours.
