GTAW welder — Randolph County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Randolph County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Your main tasks: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $250 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
