Die-casting operator — Morrill County

Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Morrill County, Nebraska. On the job you will handle: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills Part-time with flexible hours.
