Core maker — Pulaski County

Join our team: we are hiring a core maker in Pulaski County, Missouri. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling On a typical shift you will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle.
