Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Manistee County, Michigan. You will be based on a busy housing site. What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one On the job you will handle: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits.
