Now hiring: we are hiring a safety marshal in Odogbolu, Ogun State. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Day to day you will record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry.
