Surface coating operator — Brevard County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Brevard County, Florida. You will work in a metal finishing workshop. Day to day you will keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches. Requirements: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
