Backhoe operator — Jim Hogg County

Now hiring: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Jim Hogg County, Texas. You will be based in an open-cast quarry. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing You will clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
