We are recruiting: we are hiring a press operator in Brooks County, Texas. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. You should have: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout On the job you will handle: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
