Bread baker — Rockcastle County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bread baker in Rockcastle County, Kentucky. The job is at a cake shop. On a typical shift you will boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; score the top of loaves before baking; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards. Requirements: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Basic cake decorating and piping skills 6+ years on the tools preferred.
