Plant operator — Aroostook County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator in Aroostook County, Maine. The job is at a road-building project. You will grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; check for underground cables and services before digging; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket. You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $180 per day plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
