Join our team: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Dickenson County, Virginia. The job is at a busy machine shop. You will run first-off inspection and sign off the part; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
