Urgent requirement: core maker (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a core maker in Page County, Virginia. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Six days a week, one day off.
