Now hiring: we are hiring a laundry presser in Elbert County, Colorado. You will be based in a busy laundry. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work The role involves: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics Meals and transport allowance provided.
