Pressman — Fairfield County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pressman in Fairfield County, Ohio. On a typical shift you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
