Heavy equipment operator — Coke County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Coke County, Texas. You will work at a landfill site. You should have: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Your main tasks: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits.
