Brick and block layer wanted in Baldwin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Baldwin County, Georgia. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Day-to-day duties: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
