Metal caster — Cabell County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a metal caster in Cabell County, West Virginia. The role involves: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
