Heavy equipment operator — Cherokee County

Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Cherokee County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook Requirements: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
