Offshore rigger wanted in Middlesex County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Middlesex County, Virginia. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Day-to-day duties: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
