Blocklayer — Raleigh County

Join our team: we are hiring a blocklayer in Raleigh County, West Virginia. The role involves forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
