Crane operator — Ashtabula County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane operator in Ashtabula County, Ohio. You will work in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. On the job you will handle: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
