Turning centre operator — Mathews County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Mathews County, Virginia. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. You will run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed. You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Rotating shifts. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
