Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork joiner in East Sussex, England. You will work at a precast concrete yard. The role involves: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Part-time with flexible hours.
