Powder coating technician — Johnson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Johnson County, Indiana. You will work at an automotive components factory. Requirements: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Willing to work shifts and overtime Day to day you will reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $210 per day plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off.
