Meat cutter — Gulani

Now hiring: we are hiring a meat cutter in Gulani, Yobe State. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. On the job you will handle: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled Requirements: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
