Dry lining plasterer — Claiborne County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in Claiborne County, Tennessee. The job is at a new-build housing development. Requirements: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day Your main tasks: • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
