We are recruiting: we are hiring a VMC operator in Taylor County, Florida. You will be based at an automotive components factory. Requirements: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T On the job you will handle: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
