Road roller operator — Greenwood County

Now hiring: we are hiring a road roller operator in Greenwood County, Kansas. You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery On the job you will handle: • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
